BENNINGTON — On Wednesday afternoon, the Bennington Free Library closed out their summer reading program with a Paint Palooza event in the upstairs gathering space.

“This is Paint Palooza – and we’re having an ice cream sundae party to celebrate the end of our summer reading program, Color Our World,” explained youth services librarian Linda Donigan. “Kids who signed up get certificates. Everyone gets to eat ice cream, donated by Stewarts. And, everyone gets to do art.”

With over 50 in attendance, the room was filled to the brim with laughter and chattering conversation as the youngsters present immersed themselves in the creative spirit of art exploration.
