BAY CITY, MI – Bay City Commissioner Benjamin Tenney is trying to change the way the government knocks on doors.

Tenney, 41, represents Bay City’s 4th Ward. He has proposed a local ban on no-knock warrants —those controversial police entries made without warning, sometimes in the dead of night, because the suspect or suspects are considered dangerous.
