Gina Carano has settled her lawsuit against Disney and Star Wars company Lucasfilm over her firing from The Mandalorian in 2021 following her controversial social media posts.

The former UFC star and actress, who portrayed Cara Dune on the first two seasons of the Disney+ series, was dropped from the show in February 2021 after a string of what Lucasfilm then called “abhorrent” social media posts. Three years later, in February 2024, Carano filed an Elon Musk-backed wrongful termination lawsuit against Disney and Lucasfilm.

In July 2024, a judge denied Disney’s bid to dismiss Carano’s lawsuit, and now, just over a year later, the sides have reached an undisclosed settlement, according to the Hollywood Reporter .
