A man was critically injured after he was stabbed in Roxbury early Friday, according to Boston Police.

At around 2:10 a.m. Friday, police responded to a call for a walk-in stabbing victim at a hospital. The stabbing happened near Reading and Farnham streets, police said.

Arriving officers learned the victim, a 48-year-old man, had sustained a critical stab wound. While officers were at the hospital, other units searched the area and found a crime scene at the intersection, police said.

No arrests have been made and the stabbing remains under investigation.
