TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Another day of an Extreme Heat Warning with a First Alert Weather Day in place. While we broke a record yesterday, today the record high for Tucson should stay safe, with highs projected at 106. A little more moderation over the weekend, however temps will still sail above the averages through next week.

Looking for rain, the chances and overage increase over the weekend, however drop off early next week. Another surge of moisture by the end of the week with better coverage on afternoon thundershowers.

Today - Sunny and hot, with a high near 108. South southeast wind 5 to 11 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon.
