SPOKANE, Wash. - The City of Spokane has launched an online survey for residents to share goals for combatting local effects of climate change.
The survey was announced Thursday in a joint social media post from the city and mayor’s office.
Climate protections and regulations have taken center stage in recent weeks, as the Environmental Protection Agency under the Trump administration announced plans to slash grants for solar energy and proposed revoking key sections of the Clean Air Act .
This survey will serve as a follow-up to an original survey conducted by the city in January focused on identifying climate vulnerabilities in the region. Now, the focus has shifted to policy.
