MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Animal lovers may have to find some new foot paths to see their favorite exhibits for a little while.

The Memphis Zoo will be repaving their walkways throughout August, which means attendees may have to take a few detours during their trek around the zoo, as well as some exhibits being closed at certain times.

"Some amenities and animal viewing areas may be temporarily affected, but don't worry, the Zoo is still open and roaring with fun!" the zoo posted to their Facebook page. "Foot traffic is welcome. Just follow the signs around any work zones. Thanks for your patience as we give our paths a much-needed glow-up!"
