GREENVILLE, N.C. (WBTV) - A retired college professor was shot 12 times during a triple murder in eastern North Carolina earlier this year, a new autopsy report said.
The report obtained by sister-station WITN said 64-year-old Enrique Reyes was one of three people allegedly gunned down by the same suspect in Pitt County on Jan. 10, 2025.
Reyes reportedly taught biology at East Carolina University for 17 years before he retired in 2022.
One former colleague of Reyes’ told WITN that he was shocked to hear of the murder and remembered the long, friendly conversations they had.
