MANCHESTER, N.H. (KTRE) - Former Jasper Bulldog John McMillon tossed a scoreless inning of relief in the Reading Fightin Phils 4-3 extra-inning win over the New Hampshire Fisher Cats on Thursday.

The right-hander entered the game in the seventh inning.

McMillon forced Eddinson Paulino to fly out to center field for the first out of the inning. McMillon allowed a single to Ryan McCarty, and McCarty was thrown out trying to steal second base for out number two. McMillon issued a walk to Gabriel Martinez before getting Jacob Sharp to ground out and end the inning.

McMillon threw 11 pitches, with six of them being strikes. He lowered his ERA to 5.32.

The Fightin Phils are 40-63 on the year and will continue their series against New Hampshire on Friday.
