In the last six days, six people have died in suspected DUI crashes in incidents in Sacramento and Yolo counties.

Three men died Saturday morning on Roseville Road in Sacramento after being hit by a driver who police suspect was under the influence.

That same night, two teenage girls were killed on Jefferson Boulevard in West Sacramento while riding their bikes. The driver admitted to drinking six to eight ounces of vodka before getting behind the wheel.

On Wednesday, a pedestrian lost his life on Del Paso Road after being struck by a driver who police say was showing signs of intoxication.

According to Mothers Against Drunk Driving , Sacramento ranks as the third worst city in the U.S. for DUI incidents, trailing only Omaha and San Jose.
