The United States Coast Guard seized 11,922 pounds of cocaine worth $88.2 million in the eastern Pacific Ocean.
The seized contraband was offloaded at Port Everglades, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on August 5.
The crews involved in the operation included the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Escanaba, U.S. Coast Guard Helicopter Interdiction Tactical Squadron, and U.S. Coast Guard Pacific Area Tactical Law Enforcement Team.
