WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWTI) - A 33-year-old Redwood man is facing charges after allegedly attacking another person with a tire iron earlier this week.
According to the Watertown Police Department, they arrested Nicholas Patchen after he allegedly struck a 38-year-old victim in the back with a tire iron. Patchen is also alleged to have put his hands around the victim's neck, thus making it harder for them to breathe.
The incident allegedly happened Wednesday on Newell Street in the City of Watertown.
Patchen was charged with second-degree harassment, criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation, second-degree menacing and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
He was arrested and transported to the Jefferson County Jail, where Patchen was held pending arraignment in Jefferso
