SCRANTON, Pa. — The Outreach Center for Community Resources is a nonprofit serving families in Lackawanna and Luzerne Counties.

"We offer them an opportunity to do parent/child programs, workforce development, and GED, court reentry, and prison-related programs, and our youth and young adult center," Outreach Center for Community Resources President Lori Chaffers said.

Next Saturday, around 40 vendors will be at the center for its annual Children's Career Fair.

"There are so many different opportunities for kids to learn about what's possible for them and their futures," Chaffers said.

The event is open to anyone, but it is geared towards children ages 2-12.
