MITCHELL — A Mitchell woman with an active warrant for her arrest was taken into custody on Wednesday, August 6, and is now facing additional felony and misdemeanor drug charges. Mary Renee Robbins, 41, was arrested after a traffic stop conducted by the Lawrence County Police Department.

According to a probable cause affidavit filed by Officer Kenton Carter, officers were advised that a wanted female, later identified as Robbins, would be traveling to an address on West Hancock Avenue. Officers located Robbins in her 2009 Chevrolet Silverado at the specified address and placed her under arrest for the outstanding warrant from Orange County.
