GENTRY -- A 6-year-old child who went missing Thursday night was found dead Friday morning, according to a news release from the Benton County Sheriff's Office.

The Sheriff's Office was notified shortly before 10 p.m. Thursday that Odin Upton had gone missing from his home near Browning Road in Gentry, according to the release.

Sheriff Shawn Holloway activated his office's search and rescue teams. Odin's body was found at about 8 a.m. Friday. The release did not say where he was found.

"Our hearts are with Odin's family, friends, and all who loved him during this difficult time," the release states.

Lt. Shannon Jenkins, a spokeswoman for the Sheriff's Office, said they do not suspect foul play at this time.
