WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- One person was arrested after a man was injured in a stabbing on H Street in Washington, D.C. late Thursday, according to officials.
Details about what led up to the stabbing are limited; however, the Metropolitan Police Department said officers responded to the incident in the 300 block of H St., NE, just minutes before midnight.
Upon arrival, police found a man suffering from stab wounds. Medics rushed the man, who was conscious and breathing, to the hospital for treatment.
Officers arrested the person suspected of stabbing the man at the scene of the crime, MPD noted. As of Friday morning, it is unclear whether the pair knew each other and if the suspect was charged.
