OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — The Okaloosa County Department of Health has issued a water advisory for four local parks.
According to a Department of Health news release, tests done Tuesday, Aug. 5, determined the water quality at the following parks did not "meet the recreational water quality criteria" and are deemed unsafe for recreational uses: • Garnier's Beach Park, 257 Beachview Drive NE, Fort Walton Beach • Liza Jackson Park, 342 Miracle Strip Parkway SW, Fort Walton Beach • Marler Park, 1275 Santa Rosa Boulevard, Fort Walton Beach • Lincoln Park, 1217 North Bayshore Drive, Valparaiso
