ATHENS, Pa. (WETM) – An inmate at the Bradford County Correctional Facility is facing up to five years in state prison after he was found guilty of aggravated assault.

Gaige D. Brown, 27, was sentenced to a minimum of a year and a half to a maximum of five years in state prison for the crime of aggravated assault, a second-degree felony, as stated in a release from the Bradford County District Attorney's Office.

Officials say Brown was charged with the crime by the Athens Borough Police Department in January of 2025 after he entered a home on Dogwood Avenue without permission and threatened those inside with a pistol. Officials further state that Brown was wearing a bandana that was covering his face during the incident.
