BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - LIMITED RAIN CHANCES TO END THE WEEK : Rain chances will decline to 20-30% to end the week. It stays hot and muggy with highs in the low 90°s for most and mid 90°s for a few neighborhoods. Feels like temperatures will actually be on the rise into and through the weekend. Feels like temperatures still peak below Heat Advisory criteria. Weekend plans are a go with Saturday looking much drier than Sunday. Don’t cancel Sunday plans, just know rain chances will be on the rise for early next week.

MOISTURE SURGE

Deep tropical moisture tied to a tropical wave will be rolling into and through the Gulf early next week. This moisture will help increase humidity, but also cloud coverage and rain chances. Expect daytime highs to see a few degrees of cooling as a result. R
