PORTALES, N.M. (KAMR/KCIT) - Eastern New Mexico University announced its schedule for its 2025 "ENMU Dawg Days" celebration for new and continuing students, set for Aug. 16-18 to coincide with its semester's move-in day.

"Dawg Days is a wonderful ENMU tradition where we welcome the new members of our Greyhound family and welcome back our continuing students,” said James Johnston, ENMU Chancellor. “Students and families are able to experience our unique family culture both on campus and in the Portales community.”

New students will have move-in day on Saturday, Aug. 16, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., according to officials. Returning students will be able to move in from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The Dawg Days celebration will begin Saturday afternoon with a family/community fair, pep rally and a barbecu
