ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Starting next Monday, part of Park Avenue will close for roadwork.

The city says Park Ave. between Somerton Street and Westminster Road will be converted to a one-way street for westbound traffic. A detour will be posted for drivers.

According to the City of Rochester, the closure is due to the construction of two raised crosswalks. Roadwork is expected to last until the end of August.
