Abbotsford pedestrians allegedly shot at with pellet/airsoft guns

Abbotsford police are investigating five incidents in which pellet/airsoft guns were allegedly shot at pedestrians on Wednesday night (Aug. 6).

According to a news release from the Abbotsford Police Department, investigators are working to determine whether the series of reported random incidents on Abbotsford roadways between 6:20 p.m. and 9:46 p.m. are connected

Police say one person suffered a minor injury.

“In each case, the victims described a white or light-coloured SUV—occupied by younger South Asian males—approaching them, followed by either the visible production of a firearm from within the vehicle or the sound of shots being fired in their direction,” police said.
