SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — The San Angelo Police Department (SAPD) were dispatched to a two-vehicle crash on August 8.

The Nissan Frontier was traveling west bound on 23rd Street and came to a stop at the stop sign then proceeded to fail to yield the right of way to the Hyundai that traveling northbound on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive reported an SAPD officer on the scene.

The officer told the CVHP reporter on the scene that the driver of the Nissan Frontier was new to town and thought that intersection was a 4-way stop and that's why he failed to yield the right of way.

Both vehicles had two occupants in each of them. The Hyundai occupants were both transported to Shannon Medical Center for further evaluation. The occupants of the Nissan Frontier were released on scen
