QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) -- One of the biggest multicultural festivals in the country returns to New York City for its 35th year.
The annual Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival will kick off at Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens on Saturday and will run throughout the weekend, offering free family fun. Traditional Dragon Boat racers will set sail at 9 a.m., with races continuing throughout the early evening.
Families will be able to enjoy the main event alongside parades, live music performances, folk dancing, martial arts demonstrations, and more. In between events, visitors can also grab snacks and drinks from the international food court.
