BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) -- An armed robbery and carjacking took place in the parking lot of the Dunkin' Donuts on Market Street early Friday, a Boardman police report said.

Around 4 a.m. Friday, the Boardman Police Department received a call from two individuals who reported being robbed at gunpoint in the Dunkin' Donuts parking lot.

Both victims stated that they were parked by the front door of Dunkin' Donuts when they noticed three males walk past their vehicle. One of the males then approached the front passenger door, tapping aggressively on the car window with a gun, according to the report.

The report states that the robbers demanded that both victims hand over their wallets and ordered them to step out of the vehicle.
