Officials found stolen merchandise from two retailers in a nearby city on Thursday in Lincoln, according to LPD.

Elijah Peterson Sloan, 20, and Michael Peterson, 39, of Fairfield, were arrested and booked into the Placer County Jail on charges of theft and conspiracy.

Police said that due to Michael Peterson's history of theft and likelihood to reoffend, a bail enhancement was requested and approved. He is facing additional charges from the Rocklin Police Department since he had an active felony warrant from the Davis Police Department.
