CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. (WBKO) — A Taylor County man was killed Friday morning in a crash with another vehicle.

Kentucky State Police Post 15 said the crash happened at the intersection of Lone Valley Road and Robin Road in Taylor County. Authorities were notified around 7:48 a.m. EDT.

According to a preliminary investigation, Wesley Burton, 23, of Campbellsville, was traveling southbound on Lone Valley Road. He was driving a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado.

Burton attempted to turn left onto Robin Road but failed to see a 2024 Yamaha motorcycle coming around a sharp curve near the intersection.

KSP said James Austin, 32, of Campbellsville, was driving the motorcycle. The two vehicles hit in a head-on manner.

Austin was killed in the collision. Burton was not injured.
