MONROE, N.C. — A 33-year-old Pageland man has been arrested in connection with break-ins at multiple jewelry stores at Monroe Crossing Mall that resulted in the theft of $45,000 worth of merchandise.
Cameron McManus was taken into custody Aug. 6 at a local hospital and charged with felony breaking and entering, felony larceny and injury to real property, according to the Monroe Police Department.
Monroe Police officers responded to an alarm at Monroe Crossing Mall around 1:30 a.m. on July 24. When officers arrived, they discovered a shattered glass door and determined the Piercing Pagoda kiosk had been broken into, and jewelry had been stolen.
