FARGO — West Fargo Horace defensive back Jaxon Narum verbally committed to Minnesota State Moorhead, a decision that went beyond the football field.

“I really love the whole family and culture aspect," Narum said. "That really for me fits in with what I really like about football, the brotherhood and the friendships.”

The 5-foot-10, 180-pound Narum is entering his final prep football season with Horace, which won the North Dakota Division AA state title a season ago. He's part of the 2026 recruiting class.

“It’s a weight off my shoulders to be committed and have my decision made for me now so I don’t have to worry about it at all," Narum said. “I kind of had a gut feeling that I was going to end up at MSUM because I felt comfortable with the coaches and talking to players.”
