ST. PAULS — As the new school year is set to begin in Robeson County, a new administrator will lead the athletic department at St. Pauls High School.

Jordan Strickland has been named as the school’s assistant principal and will serve as athletic director, assuming the same dual role that was formerly held by Eric Sanders.

“(St. Pauls Principal Jason Suggs) had this opportunity available. I know he’s got a lot of knowledge and expertise in the area, and this is just a good opportunity for me to try to continue to grow myself as an administrator in the county and just get some experience at the high school level,” Strickland said. “I do enjoy athletics, so I’m looking forward to having a chance out here to learn about being an administrator but also an athletic director.
