ST. TAMMANY PARISH, La. —
Three boaters have been arrested for allegedly driving a vessel while impaired during Float Fest in St. Tammany.
On Aug. 2, Justin Barras, 41, of Meraux, Jeremiah Carroll, 74, of Slidell and Cameron Bertoniere, 18, of Madisonville, were all arrested by Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries agents. Advertisement
No accidents or injuries were reported but LDWF agents issued multiple citations and warnings for various safe boating law violations.
Anyone who is cited for a DWI on the water or road will lose their driver's license and boating privileges for the specified time order by the judge in the case.
