Roseville — Surveillance video outside the apartment of a Roseville man accused of killing his ex-girlfriend showed a person pushing a shopping cart toward a dumpster, then moving something large and possibly covered in a white sheet into the dumpster, according to a Roseville police detective.

During the investigation into the disappearance of Ashley Elkins, a 30-year-old mother of two children, Roseville Police Detective Chris Moran found surveillance video that showed a man in a sweatshirt pushing a shopping cart near suspect DeAndre Booker’s apartment complex.
