The 19th Twin Cities Arab Film Festival is on its way.
Mizna, an arts organization supporting the work of Arab and SWANA artists, has announced that the 2025 edition will take place from Sept. 24 to 28 at The Main Cinema, with a closing day celebration featuring films and other programming at the Walker Art Center.
"As we witness the world engulfed by preventable, human-made catastrophe — from Palestine to Sudan to Northern Minnesota — we draw each other near and we work together to rebuild a 'shared world,'" reads the fest's page on Mizna's website.
Organizers have not yet revealed the fest's lineup, but the website says it "will present a selection of films that encourage us to gather more inclusively, to build more intentionally, to unite more readily, and to see more clearly."
