CANFIELD, Ohio (WKBN) -- Every year, high school students and musicians come together for marching "band camp" to begin working on the halftime show for the football season.
This year, members of the Canfield Pride band celebrated the end of marching band practice with lunch and a slip-n-slide behind the high school.
The local fire departments provided the water for band members to take turns slipping and sliding down the hill.
"This is a well-deserved and well-look-forward-to fun activity that everyone gets together for," said Anthony Bonamase, Canfield's band director.
Bonamase said this is a tradition to mark the end of the three weeks of learning new music and marching routines for the upcoming season.
