LYNCHBURG, Va. (WDBJ) - Back-to-school season can be expensive, not just for families, but for teachers, too.

In Lynchburg, there’s a place helping educators stock their classrooms without spending hundreds of dollars out of pocket.

With school just days away, the Tools4Schools warehouse is the go-to stop for Lynchburg educators stocking their classrooms without spending a dime.

“Teachers can spend a couple hundred dollars every month to supply their classroom or their students out of their own money and so we’re here to prevent that,” said Tracy Baker the Director of Operations & Tools4Schools Warehouse Manager.

Thanks to grants, donations, and volunteers, teachers get 100 points a month, that can be used to shop here for free. The warehouse is open on professional development days,
