EVANSVILLE, Ind. — An Evansville man was arrested Friday morning after he allegedly brandished a handgun during a road rage incident.

According to a release from the Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Office , around 7:20 a.m. on Aug. 8, deputies responded to a report of a road rage incident reportedly involving a firearm.

The victim reportedly told police they pulled out in front of a vehicle, driven by a 30-year-old Evansville man, near U.S. 41 and Morgan Avenue in Evansville.

The 30-year-old man then allegedly began honking his horn, flashing his headlights and tailgating the victim. Police say during the incident, the suspect allegedly displayed a gun toward the victim.
