Luka Dončić and Slovenia began preparing for EuroBasket action with a friendly game against Germany on Friday. Slovenia lost the contest 103-89 at home.

Luka ended the game with 19 points, three rebounds and five assists in 24 minutes of play.

While this isn’t NBA action, it was the first time we’ve seen Luka play in a competitive game since he signed his Lakers contract extension and began his body transformation with intense summer workouts.

It was made clear that Luka would be in limited action against Germany, but he still started in this contest.

In Luka’s first shift in this game, he was aggressive immediately. He scored Slovenia’s first field goal and followed that up moments later with a wild circus shot.
