PENNSYLVANIA, USA — If you ask Carmine Diflorio to sing you a song, he will because he's not just any musician, he's the piano man. From the moment his fingers touched the keys, music became Carmine's voice—especially when words were out of reach.

Now 30, Carmine is the youngest member of the Philadelphia Funk Authority, a high-energy band with a 25-year groove.

"The Philadelphia Funk Authority is my most recent venture. Believe it or not, I started with the band almost a year and a half ago," said Diflorio.

This weekend, they'll close out Musikfest—the largest free music festival in the U.S.

"I am the keyboardist for the band, but I also sing. I got to choose a couple of lead songs for me to do as well."
