LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Publix is opening two new Louisville stores next month.

Both stores are opening in the same week in September and are located in eastern Jefferson County.

The new Publix at Marshall Commons, located at 1005 Ballardsville Road, will have a ribbon-cutting to celebrate its grand opening on Wednesday, Sept. 3. The store will feature a 55,000-square-feet market and an adjacent Publix Liquors.

The second Publix at Flat Rock, located at 150 Flat Rock Road, will celebrate its grand opening on Saturday, Sept. 6. The store will feature a more than 48,000-square-foot market and also have an adjacent Publix Liquors.

Both stores will open to customers at 7 a.m.
