BRAINERD — A new restaurant, Drunken Noodle, which was already a draw on Crosby’s bustling main street, opened just off South Sixth Street in Downtown Brainerd with access also from the Chick N Rice restaurant on Laurel Street.

Thamrong “Keng” Dechawuth , who opened the Drunken Noodle on Main Street in Crosby in addition to his restaurants in Fargo, North Dakota, and Bemidji, as well as Chick N Rice and the Blue Oyster in Brainerd, said he pulled in Sarawut “Em” Raksaphakdee from California to relocate here as an owner of Chick N Rice and Drunken Noodle in Brainerd. Chick N Rice and Drunken Noodle, 215 S. Sixth St., are in the former Northwind Grille site on Laurel Street.
