MARSHFIELD, Vt. (ABC22/FOX44) - Vermont State Police received a report Friday morning from a woman who said someone tried to break into her home while she slept.

The report came in about 5:41 a.m. on Friday. Troopers say that a suspect fled the area of the home on U.S. Route 2 in Marshfield but troopers were able to find one woman matching a description given by the victim.

The woman was arrested on a charge of burglary of an occupied dwelling, but the woman refused to identify herself, and is now being called "Jane Doe," meaning that she is an unidentified woman in a legal case.
