TOWN OF CHENANGO, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) - Two men are dead after stabbing each other last night in Castle Creek.

New York State Police list the dead as 50 year-old Harry Swan of Castle Creek and 48 year-old Jeffrey Ryan of Binghamton. Police say Ryan drove to Swan's home at 1086 Castle Creek Road last night and the two men had a fight outside the house.

Ryan allegedly stabbed Swan who retreated into his home and returned with a knife of his own and stabbed Swan. Swan was declared dead at scene while Ryan was taken to Wilson Hospital where he later died from his injuries.

State Police investigators were still on the scene this afternoon collecting evidence.
