AMHERST, Mass. (WWLP) - Jeff MacDonald of UMass Amherst has been named Chef of the Year by the American Culinary Federation (ACF), earning one of the most prestigious honors in the culinary industry.

MacDonald received the award on Thursday, July 31, during the ACF’s Annual National Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The recognition highlights his exceptional skill, leadership, and dedication to advancing the profession, placing him among the nation’s top culinary talents.
