MILTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - Crews are hard at work trimming out the trails at the Cooper Corn Maze in Milton to get it ready for visitors.

WSAZ’s Susan Nicholas stopped by to watch how the paths get made.

And yes, those are machetes.

Only the owners and workers know the best way to make it out of the maze.

Susan said luckily, she had some help.

The Cooper Corn Maze will open for the 25th season in September.

Closer to opening day, they will reveal this year’s design that they’ve cut into the field.
