RAYNHAM, Mass. (WPRI) — An investigation is underway after two people were killed in an apparent shooting at a Raynham home on Friday, according to Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn III.

Police were called to the Elm Street West home just after noon.

Inside, officers found 37-year-old Marie Hunt on the bed with a gunshot wound to the abdomen and 35-year-old Mark Henshaw with a gunshot wound to the head. Both were pronounced dead around 12:45 p.m.

Two children were also inside the home but were unharmed, according to the DA's office.

Officials said there were no signs of forced entry and there is no threat to public safety.

A 12 News crew is headed out to the scene, gathering more information.
