BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Documents filed in federal court Friday show that a settlement has been reached between a man left paralyzed from the waist down after being shot by a former Louisiana State Police Trooper.

Court records filed in the Middle District of Louisiana in June of 2025 show former trooper Kasha Domingue was able to reach a settlement with Clifton Scott Dilley, the man she shot during a July 2018 traffic stop in Baton Rouge. She was later dismissed from the force.

Updated documents filed August 7 show that the settlement had moved forward and attorneys for the two parties were filing for dismissals.

The terms of the settlement were not published in the court record.
