The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered is easily one of 2025's best games, and the year isn't even over yet. It is a completely transformative remaster, one that many consider to be more of a remake, and rightfully so. Its changes are many and impressive, allowing it to bring to life one of gaming's greatest RPGs. No longer is Oblivion buried beneath the weight of its outdated visuals, thanks to the power of UE5 and developer Virtuos.

However, as much as Oblivion Remastered truly is one of the best remasters of 2025 , there is another RPG that, after an excruciatingly long wait, is also getting a remaster this year. While perhaps not as transformative, this hugely underrated RPG is deserving of all of our attention, which is why I am so pleased it is getting the remaster treat
