Authorities sought the public’s help Friday in locating an at-risk 78-year-old man last seen in Inglewood, prompting the issuance of a Silver Alert.

Lawrence Kaufman was last seen around 8 a.m. Monday near Hindry Avenue and West Arbor Vitae Street, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert on behalf of the Inglewood Police Department.

Kaufman was described as a 5-foot-10-inch-tall man weighing 225 pounds with gray hair and hazel eyes. It was unclear what he was wearing when he was last seen.

Anyone with information regarding Kaufman’s whereabouts was urged to call 911.
