GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — On Friday, Grand Valley Power (GVP) announced that its members elected three directors to its board, Kyle Coltrinari, Gary De Young and Andrew Golike, who will take their seats on Wednesday, Aug. 20.
The elected directors will serve a three-year term and join six other sitting directors on GVP's board. To be qualified as nominees, all candidates had to agree to abide by the cooperative's bylaws and policies, must be a GVP member and receive power at their primary residence from GVP.
GVP members could either mail in their votes or vote in person by dropping their ballot in a secure ballot box at the GVP's office or during the annual meeting on Thursday. Members had the right to vote for up to three directors to be elected.
