MEMPHIS, Tenn -- A Whitehaven High School football coach is prioritizing safety as football season nears.

For many in the Mid-South, the best time of year is right around the corner, and high school football is just two weeks away.

“We have that mission in mind, and we stay focused on it every day, and we know it’s building by process to getting it done, so week by week, game by game, our only focus is week one right now, and we continue to build on that,” said Whitehaven Head Coach Rodney Saulsberry.
